Wellmore #8 Coal Storage Silo - Big Rock, VA
McClure Concrete Products supplied over 5,000 cubic yards of high spec concrete without a single load rejected. The biggest challenge on this project was the continuous slip pour for the silo walls - over 1900 cubic yards supplied around the clock for 10 a ten day period without interruption.
Grundy Walmart & Town Center
McClure Concrete was proud to be the supplier for this unique project. The Grundy Walmart was built on top of a two story parking garage. McClure Concrete supplied all of the concrete from the drilled pier foundations all the way up to the lightweight concrete used in the retail level floor, as well as all of the hardscapes, incorporating specialty mixes such as colored concrete, exposed aggregate concrete & lightweight concrete.
Concrete Water Tank - Lebanon, VA
Southern Gap Development, Phase I & II - Grundy, VA
Greenbrier Smokeless, Mine Shaft - Rupert, WV
McClure Concrete utilized one of its portable batch plants to service this vertical mine shaft. The winter weather was cold and snowy, but we delivered anyway. Batch water had to be heated to over 160 degrees at times, in order to keep the concrete temperature in spec.
